3-in-1 Automatic Edge Trimming Ironing Folding Machine (400) for Pouch Cell 

I. Equipment Action Principle

The cutting, folding and ironing three-in-one machine is a piece of equipment that integrates three processes: cell trimming, edge folding and edge ironing.  

Operating principle: This equipment is composed of five mechanisms, namely the cell correction and positioning mechanism, trimming mechanism, edge-folding mechanism, edge-ironing mechanism, and robotic automatic pick-and-place device. After manual loading and cell correction/positioning, the operator presses the dual start buttons with both hands to start the equipment. Then the cell goes through trimming, edge folding and edge ironing in sequence. After the ironing process is completed, the ironing mechanism opens, and the cell fixture returns to its initial position. Finally, the cell is removed manually.

Ⅴ. Equipment Feature

1. Supports both single and double folding operations.  

2. The cutting knives rotate synchronously in opposite directions, ensuring high trimming precision; the service life of the knives exceeds 1.5 million cycles.  

3. All four main mechanisms can be adjusted simultaneously for in-and-out movement, enabling flexible operation.  

4. Multiple products can be loaded at one time, improving production efficiency.  

5. Both manual and automatic modes are available.  

6. Position adjustments for each mechanism are guided by linear slide rails.  

7. The folding wheels are made of tool steel, featuring excellent wear resistance.  

The operating speeds of the cutting knife and fixture, as well as the edge-heating temperature, are all adjustable.
