I. Equipment Overview
1. Function (Principle) Introduction
This equipment is mainly used for the formation of polymer battery cells under high temperature and pressure conditions, which helps to form a denser SEI film, achieve more complete capacity activation, and improve capacity consistency. It supports high-current charging, shortening the formation time and reducing the battery production cycle.
The complete system consists of one 128-channel formation power supply and two fixtures, with fixtures distributed on the left and right. Each fixture contains 64 channels, combining to form a total of 128 channels.
2. Equipment Functions
The equipment consists of six main systems: temperature control, over/under-temperature alarm, over/under-voltage alarm, pressure control, formation cabinet system, and fixture mechanism.
It comes with: independent temperature control for each board layer, pressure control, charge/discharge functions, overcharge/overdischarge protection, reliable contact between battery tabs and contact points, data connectivity, data storage after process completion, voltage sorting after charging, capacity sorting after discharging, and a smoke alarm system.

6. Operation Process:
Power on → Manually open cabinet door → Insert batteries into Fixture A → Set Fixture A parameters → Lower Fixture A and start process → Insert batteries into Fixture B → Set Fixture B parameters → Lower Fixture B and start process → After Fixture A completes, manually remove batteries.
7. Equipment Features
1. Compatible with cell thickness range of 3–10mm, no need to adjust fixture or replace tab blocks.
2. Fixture aluminum plates are made of 19.5mm thick grid-type hollow aluminum, lightweight, strong, and deformation-resistant.
