I. Equipment Overview
1. Function (Principle) Introduction
This equipment is primarily designed for the formation of polymer battery cells under high-temperature and pressure conditions. It aids in forming a denser SEI film, enables more thorough capacity activation, and enhances capacity consistency. Supporting high-current charging, it shortens formation time and reduces the battery production cycle.
The complete system comprises an 8-channel formation cabinet and a fixture. The fixture is arranged in parallel, featuring 4 layers of heating and pressing plates, and is integrated with 8 channels of 5V6A. The fixture and formation cabinet are combined into a single unit, with a total of 8 usable channels.
2. Equipment Functions
The equipment encompasses: a temperature control system, over/under-temperature alarm system, over/under-voltage alarm system, pressure control system, formation cabinet system, and fixture mechanism.
It offers layer-specific temperature regulation, pressure management, charge/discharge capabilities, overcharge/overdischarge safeguards, secure tab-to-contact connections, data communication functionality, automatic post-process data storage, post-charging voltage classification, post-discharging capacity classification, and a smoke detection alarm.

2. Operation Process:
Open cabinet door → Place battery → Close cabinet door → Set parameters → Fixture clamps → Start heating → Start formation → Formation completes → Fixture releases → Open cabinet door → Remove battery

III. Main Software Functions
1. Working modes: constant current charging, constant current/voltage charging, constant current discharging, rest, and cycling; cut-off conditions: voltage, time, final current, and final capacity.
2. Formation steps can resume from power failure, manual pause, software shutdown, communication failure, and abnormal stop.
3. All step curves and test data per battery are saved; current and historical data can be viewed per channel in data or curve format; Excel export supported for single/batch and auto export after completion.
4. Multiple inspection interfaces: graphical, summary data, categorized data, abnormal indicators.
5. Step protections for voltage, current, temperature, and pressure with alarm alerts.
6. Minimum PC configuration: PII/300 CPU, ≥2GB RAM, ≥250GB HDD, EGA/VGA display, mouse & keyboard, Windows 7 or above, one USB serial port, one network port.
Operation software provided; user supplies the PC.
7. Protection Functions:
(1) Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, under-current, over-capacity protection(2) Configurable voltage/current thresholds with alerts and records
(3) Over-temp/pressure warning lights
(4) Emergency stop: fixture remains closed, system power cut
(5) Smoke alarm: buzzer sounds on detection

Yellow: Standby (fixture not clamped)
Green: In process (clamped and charging)
Red: Fault (over/low temp/voltage, smoke, communication error)
