I. Equipment Overview
1. Function (Principle) Introduction
This equipment is primarily designed for pouch cell formation under high-temperature and pressure conditions, facilitating the formation of denser SEI films, more thorough capacity activation, and enhanced capacity consistency. It supports high-current charging to shorten formation time and reduce the overall battery production cycle.
The system integrates hot press fixtures with formation equipment, consisting of a 128-channel formation power supply and two fixtures (left and right-mounted). Each fixture is equipped with 64 channels, totaling 128 channels for the complete setup.
2. Equipment Functions
The equipment comprises six components: a temperature control system, over/under-temperature alarm system, over/under-voltage alarm system, pressure control system, formation cabinet system, and fixture mechanism.
Its features include: layer-specific independent temperature control, pressure regulation, charge-discharge capabilities, overcharge and over-discharge protection, secure connections between tabs and contacts, data communication functionality, automatic data storage upon process completion, post-charging voltage grading, post-discharging capacity grading, and a smoke alarm function.

2. Operation Process:
Power on → Manually open the cabinet door → Insert battery into Fixture A → Set parameters for Fixture A → Fixture A lowers and starts → Insert battery into Fixture B → Set parameters for Fixture B → Fixture B lowers and starts → Wait for Fixture A to complete → Manually remove the battery.
7. Equipment Features
1. Compatible with cell thickness range of 2.5–12mm without fixture adjustment or tab block replacement.
2. Fixture plate is made of 19.5mm thick grid-type hollow aluminum, lightweight, strong, and non-deforming.

III. Main Software Functions
1. Working modes include: constant current charging, constant current/constant voltage charging, constant current discharging, rest, and cycling; cut-off conditions: voltage, time, end current, and end capacity.
2. Formation steps can resume from power failure, manual pause and resume, software closure resume, communication interruption resume, and abnormal stop resume.
3. All step curves for each battery are stored. Test data can be viewed in real-time and historically per channel, displayed in both data and curve formats. Supports exporting to Excel in single or batch mode. Auto-export of data after test completion is supported.
4. Multiple battery inspection interface options: graphical display, comprehensive data, categorized data, and abnormal display.
5. Supports various step protections including over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, under-current, temperature, and pressure; with alarm system.
6. Minimum computer system configuration: PII/300 CPU or above, 2GB RAM or more, 250GB HDD or more, EGA/VGA color display, mouse and keyboard, Windows 7 or above, one available USB serial communication port and one network port.
7. Operation software provided. PC to be prepared by user.
8. Protection Functions:
(1) Software over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, under-current, over-capacity protection
(2) Voltage and current protection range configurable, alerts and logs after protection
(3) Temperature and pressure out-of-range alarm light
(4) Emergency stop button, fixture remains closed during emergency stop, system power off
(5) Smoke alarm sensor triggers buzzer alarm upon smoke detection
