  • Polymer Composite Replacement Bipolar Plates Polymer Composite Replacement Bipolar Plates for Redox Flow Cell, 2pcs/Pack

Polymer Composite Replacement Bipolar Plates for Redox Flow Cell, 2pcs/Pack Replacement bipolar plates (2pcs per pack)  for the EQ-VRB-C splitable single unit flow cell.   Used for collecting current produced from the flow cell to enable conduction at the current plates. These polymer composite plates are flexible and tough -- useful for withstanding the fluid pressure of Vanadium electrolyte that a flow cell will be subjected to internally. The thinness (~0.7mm) of the plates also help minimize the volume and weight of each cell when assembled and stacked together.     Corresponding Parts highlighted in red, please click for enlarged view.  Product parameters Features · High electrical conductivity, chemical resistance, and high mechanical strength for toughness required when cells are clamped and stacked. · These highly flexible plates (polymer composite based) have similar performance compared to conventional graphite plates BUT offer excellent resistance to breakage and have less defects. · Only ~0.7mm in thickness, this helps minimize the volume and weight of cells when stacked (compared to graphite plates which are porous and brittle in nature; hence needs to be thick structurally). Size Two szes available (Please choose the correct plate size from product options above)   · 100mm x 100mm -- for flow cells that use 7x7 cm, 5x5 cm, and 3x3 cm reactive areas (please click right picture to verify)  · 60mm x 60mm -- for flow cells that use ONLY 3x3 cmreactive area (please click right picture to verify)             Application Note Replacement of plates is recommended for every 5 tests or 50 hours of test time ( with immediate replacement if physical damage is present).
