I. Acceptance Criteria:

Under standard conditions, namely at a constant temperature of 20 - 25 °C and a relative humidity of 65%, with an 99.999% inert gas source, the oxygen content in the circulating water of the empty box body has all reached less than 1 ppm.

 

II. Standard Configuration and Main Technical Indicators of the Glove Box

1. Box body

1. 1 The dimensions of the box body are as follows: 1200mm (length) × 900mm (height) × 750mm (width at the bottom);

1.2 Material: All stainless steel structure [SUS304], thickness 3mm.

1.3 Glove opening: Diameter 220mm, made of solid aluminum material.

1.4 Gloves: Glove diameter 8 inches, thickness 0.4mm, made of butyl rubber.

1.5 Window: Sloping design for the operating surface, detachable 8mm safety tempered glass front window.

1.6 During use, a certain positive and negative pressure can be maintained (-12mbar - 12mbar).

1.7 The box body is equipped with anti-reflection LED lights, with soft light.

1.8 Pre-set in the box body is one multi-hole power connection board (power supply: 220V ±10% 50Hz ±10%)

1.9 The box body is equipped with multiple standard KF-40 interfaces, facilitating the connection of liquids, gases, signals, etc.

1.10 The box body has two layers of shelves or is equipped with shelf boxes.

1.11 Stand: With casters, height 900mm. The casters have functions of leveling, moving, and fixing.

1.12 Leakage rate of the box body is less than 0.001vol%/h;


2. Transition Cabin

2.1 Shape: Cylindrical (304 stainless steel), connected to the glove box, controlled by valves.

2.2 Dimensions: Diameter 390mm, length 600mm. Large transition cabin (operated on the right side), there is a movable tray inside the cabin. A small transition cabin is set on the right side of the box, with a specification of Ф 150 mm × 330 mm. Automatic valves on the large transition cabin control the suction and inflation. Manual valves are used for suction and inflation in the small transition cabin.

2.3 Tray: Can freely extend (The large transition compartment is equipped with).

2.4 Vacuum Degree: ≤ -0.1 MPa (Both large and small right transition compartments are required to be able to vacuum and display vacuum values), vacuum pressure gauges are selected from Germany Wika.

 

3. Recirculation Purification Control System

3.1 Control System

3.1.1 Modes: Automatic control, cyclic control, and vacuum chamber control are all displayed via LCD. The control unit uses the German Siemens PLC.

3.1.2 Pressure Control: Controls the pressure of the control box at a certain set value.

3.1.3 Foot Pedal: Allows for controlling the pressure of the glove box, facilitating operation.
3.2 Circulation Purification System

3.2.1 Environmental Control: H2O < 1 ppm, O2 < 1 ppm.

3.2.2 Adjustment Device: Adjusted through PLC touch screen (heating, vacuuming, purification, regeneration). The entire process does not require manual monitoring.

3.2.3 Working Gas: N2 or Ar (gas circulation).

3.2.4 Circulation Fan: Flow rate 0 - 100 m³/h.

3.2.5 Single Purification Column: German BASF deoxidation material 5 kg, American UOP efficient water-absorbing material 5 kg.

3.2.6 Purification Valve: Fully automatic electric valve. Modular design.

3.2.7 Filter: High-efficiency filter using a 0.3 micron pore diameter filter net that meets HEPA standards.

3.3 Regeneration System

Used for reusing the purification system to activate it; regeneration requires a mixed gas of N2/H2 or Ar/H2, with H2 accounting for 5% - 10%.

3.4 Display System

The control unit uses a Siemens touch screen. Operating menu: Chinese, English.
4. Vacuum System

4.1 Automatic control of vacuum pump, the vacuum pump is required to operate when the system needs it.

4.2 The ultimate vacuum degree of the vacuum pump should be ≤ 5×10 - 1 pa.

4.3 The transition cabin can be evacuated separately, and it can be controlled independently at any time.

4.2 The laboratory must have an independent ground wire: less than 3 Ω. It is recommended to use a flat copper wire with a cross-sectional area of ≥ 10mm² for the connection from the equipment to the ground wire.
4.3 Water supply: None;

4.4 Relative humidity: < 75%;

4.5 There is no large amount of dust indoors, and no corrosive, flammable or explosive gases.
