TMAX-KJ01V is a compact Vacuum Dip Coater with a color touch screen controller. The sample (Max. 1" dia. x 3" L) can be dipped and pulled in a vacuum-sealed 2" dia quartz tube with rotation.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Quartz Tube & Vacuum Sealed
· Quartz tube size: 50 mm OD x 44 mm ID x 300 mm L, one end closed and one end open.
· SS304 vacuum flange seals the quartz tube with KF 25 port to connect the vacuum port and a needle valve for the gas inlet with 1/4" fitting.
· The KF 25 port on the top flange will connect to scalable below and vacuum-sealed rotary and moving fixtures.
· Solution (liquid) will be put inside the quartz tube without a crucible.
· Vacuum level: 10⁻² torr by mechanical pump and 10⁻⁵ torr by a turbopump.
Dipping Mechanism
· Two DC motors are built into an aluminum frame. One is for moving up and down, and one for rotation.
· One SS304 rod is connected to the motors for dipping and pulling samples.
· Touch screen control panel to program dipping/pulling speed, rotation speed, and display vacuum.
o Moving distance: 100 mm
o Dipping/pulling speed: 1-200 mm/min with accuracy within ±0.05%
o Dipping/pulling distance: 75 mm
o Dwell time: 999 seconds max.
o Cycle time: 20 times max.
Sample Holder
· Two screw sample clips are installed in the sample holder to carry the samples sliding up and down through two guide rods.
· Max. sample size: 75 mm (L) x 25 mm (W) x 2.5 mm (T).
· Max. sample weight: 250 g.
· Customized sample holder is available upon request.
Voltage
· DC24V, 90W max.
· A universal power adapter for 100-240 VAC input voltage is included.

· NRTL or CSA certification is available upon request at an extra cost.
Application Note
· To achieve better film coating, the substrate should be treated by a plasma cleaner.
· Use an ultrasonic processor to disperse nano powder or homogenize solution for improved coating.
· For high-temperature dip coating, the quartz tube can be inserted into a temperature control furnace (up to 1000°C).
