I. Function Overview
This equipment is used for Z-fold stacking of lithium-ion battery cells (including positive electrodes, negative electrodes, and separators) via a single-station method. The separator is actively unwound, guided to the stacking platform through a tension mechanism, and moved back and forth to enable electrode sheet placement. Two robotic arm sets pick up positive and negative electrodes from their respective left-side material hoppers, then precisely position and stack them onto the platform. Once the preset layer count is reached, the tail is automatically wrapped (with a tail-free mode option). The cell is clamped, the separator is cut, and the clamped cell is transferred to the taping station for automatic taping. Simultaneously, the separator is blown and flipped to initiate the next stacking cycle. Taped cells are stacked and unloaded.
