1. Equipment Function Description:
This machine is mainly used for the precision winding of cylindrical lithium-ion battery cells.
Working process: Manually feed the cathode and anode sheets into the winding section, interleave them with the separator, wind according to process requirements, automatically attach termination tape, and automatically discharge the wound cell.
2. Equipment Functions and Features
1. Single-needle through-shaft winding design.
2. Manual electrode feeding, with automatic winding, automatic needle shifting, automatic termination taping, and automatic discharging.
3. Lateral taping mode (termination tape perpendicular to tab); tape application is smooth and precise without straining the cell; taping is reliable and steady.
4. Winding speed adjustable.
5. Two active separator rolls, adopting proximity switch-controlled tension technology for smooth automatic tension adjustment during winding; upper and lower tension both adjustable.
6. Separator with outer-wrap termination.
7. Wound cells are free from damage, core slipping, or misalignment.
8. Easy to operate, with quick and simple specification adjustment.
3. Process Flow
This equipment complies with cylindrical lithium-ion battery winding standards: separator fully wraps the anode, and anode wraps the cathode.
Process steps:
1. Separator pre-winding: toothed blade technology reduces pre-wound separator length.
2. Feed anode: manually feed into the winding section.
3. Feed cathode: manually feed into the winding section.
4. Winding.
5. Position transfer.
6. Separator cutting, termination taping, and discharging.

4. Equipment Composition
1. The equipment includes a winding device, position shifting unit, separator unwinding unit, electrode guiding unit, taping unit, discharging unit, and control system.
2. Winding device (2 sets): single-head through-shaft structure ensures accuracy; easy needle replacement.
3. Position shifting unit (1 set): switches between winding and taping stations.
4. Separator unwinding unit (2 sets): active unwinding with pneumatic tension control.
5. Electrode guiding unit (2 sets): single-sided adjustment, easy to operate.
6. Taping and discharging unit (1 set).
